The Impossible Case Institute was built to take on the hardest cases in the world. The ones that are too expensive, too risky, too complex. Cases that don’t even exist, not until we expose the corporate cover-up. Every matter that comes through our door arrived here because someone else said it couldn’t be done.
The Institute is led by trial attorney John Uustal, whose career has been defined by taking on cases others would not and turning them into outcomes that change industries. We handle a small number of cases each year, each requiring full institutional focus. This is not a new practice group or a variation of something that already exists. It was built from the ground up, with no inherited model or ceiling.

This is the first senior legal hire at the Impossible Case Institute, for an experienced plaintiff trial lawyer who already knows how to carry a case. You will work directly with John Uustal on active litigation and a small number of matters that require full attention and depth.
The expectation is not just strong legal thinking, but the ability to operate at a level most firms do not require. This is not a defined path or a conventional role. It is an opportunity to build something and grow into it.
